What is BluesNBrews?
The BluesNBrews Festival is a charity fundraiser sponsored by the Westford Rotary Charitable Endowment, Inc. The event features live performances by award-winning blues bands and gourmet beer tasting.
Where do proceeds go?
Beneficiaries are chosen on an annual basis. Prior year beneficiaries include: Blister Buddies/Multiple Sclerosis Society, Massachusetts National Guard Family Support Fund, Friends Forever International Peace Program, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts, and a variety of local scholarships & projects of the Westford Rotary Club.
What happens if it rains?
The event is held Rain or Shine.
How many people attend this event?
We expect 3500-4000 people in 2007.

Can those under 21 attend?
There is no age requirement to
attend; however, beverages that contain alcohol will only be available to people of legal drinking age who provide a valid photo ID.
Acceptable forms of ID are: US driver license/liquor ID or passport.

What's your policy on ticket refunds?
There are no refunds. If you purchase a ticket and then choose not to attend for some reason, please be assured your ticket fee will still go to a worthy charity.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking for the 2007 BluesNBrews festival is FREE but space may be limited. (Please carpool!)
Can we bring blankets, chairs, coolers, etc.?
We welcome blankets!
Chairs are acceptable.
Coolers and containers are NOT ALLOWED.
Bags and backpacks will be checked at the gate by security personnel.
Can I bring a picnic lunch?
Food & beverages may NOT be brought into the festival. BAGS & BACKPACKS WILL BE CHECKED. There will be a variety of food and beverages available on site throughout the day.
Why do you only pour into small cups?
This is a beer TASTING festival, not a drinking festival. It's like a wine tasting, only with beer. We emphasize quality over quantity.
Do you serve drinks other than beer?
YES - we also have Wine, Water, Soda / Juice, and Non-Alcoholic Beer. We may also have "alternative" beverages such as Hard Cider.
Are there activities for kids?
Since this is not a child-oriented event, we do not provide activities or entertainment for kids. You are welcome to bring coloring books and board games, as long as they do not disturb others.
What else is there to do at the festival?
There will be a variety of vendor and craft booths. We also have raffles and prize drawings.
Is there a dance floor?
There IS room for dancing on the ground next to the stage. We do not provide a dance floor.
Is smoking allowed?
Cigarette smoking IS allowed outdoors at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. Please smoke only on the fringes of the crowd. Cigars and pipes are acceptable but please be considerate of non-smokers. If non-smokers in the vicinity are bothered by ANY smoking activity, security personnel may require you to move to a new area.
Are pets allowed?

What about camping?
Camping is not allowed on site.
Do you need volunteers?
We can always use extra help at the BluesNBrews festival! Volunteers get free admission. Please see the Volunteer page for details or call 978-772-3612.
