If you are interested in volunteering for the BluesNBrews Festival or the PigNPepper Fest, please complete the form on the next page.
But first ........ PLEASE READ THESE
6 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:
#1 Blues'N'Brews Volunteers must be 18 or older as of the festival date. Pig'N'Pepper Volunteers must be at least 13. Special arrangements can be made for children of Rotarians and children of Community Partners; please ask for details.
#2 The festival is held RAIN OR SHINE. If you volunteer, we expect you to show up. If you think there's any chance you won't be able to work your shift as planned, please do not volunteer!
#3 All volunteers receive free admission with beverage tickets, and unlimited bottled water during their shift. You may volunteer for both shifts. Anyone who works the whole day (2 shifts) will receive a Lunch Voucher.
SECURITY VOLUNTEERS get a t-shirt, hat and some other benefits. Security is a full day commitment (9:00am to 7:00pm). Security personnel are not allowed to drink alcohol during their shift.
#4 YOU MUST CHECK IN AT THE STAFF ENTRANCE 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR SHIFT. 2nd shift volunteers may check in early if they want to enjoy the festival before their shift starts.
#5 The Staffing Coordinator is in charge of all position assignments other than Security. Positions include Front Gate, Brew Tent Pouring Assistants, Booth Help, etc. You may indicate your preference in the Comments section, and we will try to get you your choice, but there are no guarantees. If this is a problem for you please do not volunteer.
#6 After your form is submitted, you will get an email response to let you know we received it. Within one week after that, the Staff Coordinator will send you a followup email confirming your volunteer assignment. The confirmation email will include further details such as arrival times, parking info, and general policies.
